Your Dream Team

I cannot begin to stress how important it is to have a strong support system – your dream team. Your dream team are the people who are there to help you achieve your dreams. Whether you’re an entrepreneur or a stay at home mom, we all need a team of people on whom we can count on. But how do you choose who should go on your team? The selection process is very important. If you choose the wrong people, it could mean the difference between success and failure. So who should you have?

1. A Spiritual Confidant – This is someone who can pray with you and for you. Someone who shares a similar spiritual belief as you and is as knowledgeable as you. A spiritual confidant is listed first on this list because we have to maintain our spiritual alignment in order to successful at anything we set out to do. This is how we find and confirm our purpose and path in life.

2. An Accountability Partner – This is someone who isn’t afraid to call you out on your -ish. Someone whom you trust and is vocal enough to call/text/email/skywrite to make sure you are staying on task and keeping focused.

3. A Motivator – This is a person who always has an encouraging word to say. Every time you talk to this person, you walk away feeling like you can conquer the world. A motivator is great to have on your team to keep you going full steam ahead, especially when obstacles begin to form.

4. A cheerleader – This person is energetic and exudes positive energy from every pore of his body. She is there to pick you up when you are feeling down. But will also allow you to cry on her shoulder. But because her energy is so contagious, it is difficult to stay feeling down for too long.

5. Your Role Model – Last, but definitely not least, this is the person who is where you want to be. You learn from her and value her advice. When you surround yourself with the people who are where you want to be, the chances of you actually getting there skyrocket. Why? Because you listen and learn from first-hand information and experience.

So in our everyday pursuit of excellence and creating the live you want to live, don’t forget to be intentional about the people you keep closest to you. Choose wisely.
