Accountability and support

Everyone wants to be successful right? Everyone wants to do well at their job, excel at their craft, or become profitable in their business.

But when you ask the question, “What must I do to become successful?” You’ll hear the typical responses of:

“Work Hard.”

“Never Give Up!”

“Be willing to invest in yourself.”

All of this is good advice. However, if you take ONLY take this advice, you will not be successful. . . well, at least you won’t be able to sustain your success.

At the root of our quest to get promotions, run large corporations, and manage a worldwide business, what you really want is to have sustainable, long lasting success and growth. You don’t really want to be an overnight success or here today and gone tomorrow.

So, what’s missing?

Accountability and Support

In order to achieve and maintain your success, you have to have accountability and support. Think about this – Weight Watchers was started in 1961 by one person who wanted to lose weight. Because of her success at weight loss and helping others lose weight, that one idea expanded into a thriving business that has been saving lives for decades.

Although the science of weight loss has changed over the years, there is one thing that has remained the same.

It is this one thing that is the secret to weight loss success and the success of any professional or personal conquest. And that thing is accountability and support.

Without these two factors in place, you’re more likely to lose motivation, lose focus, give up, not do the work, etc.

Who do you have in your life to hold you accountable to your actions and support you through the process? This is the person who is willing to push you out of your comfort zone. This is the person who will hold your feet to the fire when you feel like giving up. This is the person who will walk with you on this journey to make sure you reach your fullest potential. Do you have this person in your life?

Your journey to success is not a journey that you should do alone. Success requires that you have the right people around you to achieve your best and highest potential.
